The platyposse is a group of devoted music lovers that formed during Scott’s facebook livestreams in 2020.

With 5 streams each week for the majority of the pandemic, strangers gathered and connected virtually to watch Scott perform a variety of themes from originals, improv, Rock Blocks, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Phish, Grateful Dead, and the ongoing Floyd Friday saga for 60+ episodes going strong.

Early on, Scott asked his viewers to “hurl a platypus” in order to inspire him to play an encore in the awkward silence and solitude of a livestream environment. This concept was embraced and exaggerated with crazy antics and the platyposse was born. 

The group supported and sustained itself through community, friendship, creativity and it’s mantra...MUSIC IS THE MEDICINE.
